LA-ICP-MS Tech is applied to analyse the U-Pb age of zircons from the leucosome and its protolith amphibolite from the Guandi complex, Zhoukoudian area, Beijing, yielding （2 548＋23/-24） Ma and （2 538＋34/-35） Ma respectively. The results reveal that the Guandi complex underwent high-grade regional metamorphism and anatexis in the late Neoarchaean, which provides further metamorphic chronological evidence for cratonization of the the Eastern North China block.
