英文摘要：

Central Asia is an important region d the Silk Road Economic Belt. Among the five Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan is in a relatively leading position with the most economically developed and the most complete financial system. As a result, the monetary and financial cooperation between China and Kazakhstan has a broad space for development. This paper studies the current situation in the Sino - Kazakhstan financial cooperation, and believes that the wide gap of the economic and financial development between China and Kazakhstan and the lack of ＂communication of the will of people＂ are the main restriction factors existed. It proposes that the current Sino - Kazakhstan financial cooperation should focus on strengthening financial coop- eration in trade and investment fields; continue to promote the construction of Horges International Border Cooperation Center and the establishment of the Sino - Kazakhstan payment and settlement systems as soon as possible.
