Based on the scientific articles from the informatics journals, a author collaboration network model is presented By the theoretic analysis and computer simulation, the degree distribution of the network nodes is a power law and this network is a scale-free network. In order to make sure the validity of the network model, we gather the articles during the year 2001-2006 from four Journals of the Informatics, and construct the author collaboration networks. By setting the parameters of the network model, the demonstration results are consistent with that of the network simulation and the theoretic calculation of the model.
