通过对河南省农村地区居民抽样调查，进而分析制约河南省农村体育文化建设的因素，旨在为河南省社会主义新农村建设提供参考。新农村体育文化的发展主要是农村居民在充分吸收传统体育文化优秀成分的基础上，建立与现代体育经济和市场体育经济相适应的现代市场观念体系，不断摈弃落后、愚昧、封闭、保守的小农意识，而积极吸纳先进、科学、开放、理性的现代体育文化精神的过程。
英文摘要：
Through a sampling survey of rural residents of Henan Province, the author analyzes the restrictire factors on the construction of sports culture in rural areas in the province, aiming at offering some references about the building of new socialist countryside in the province. The development of sports culture in new countryside involves the absorption of excellent elements of traditional sports culture and the establishment of a modern market notional system adapted to modern sports economy and market sports economy. It is a process of abandoning the backward, ignorant, closed and conservative ideology of small farmers and absorbing advanced, scientific, open and rational spirit of modern sports culture.
