Special logic functions such as linear function, redundant function, dual function, self-dual function had many unique merit in circuit design. According to the definition of linear function, redundant function, dual func- tion, self-dual function, the method of detecting linear function, redundant function based on K-map and dual func- tion, self-dual function based on decomposition were discussed, several example were presented to demonstrate the detecting process. The application results showed that the presented graphic method had many features such as di- rectness, convenience.
