信息技术的广泛应用究竟是以线上渠道替代实体零售,还是刺激了新增消费?本文从包容性创新视角提供了信息技术应用与消费增长的分析框架和理论假说,利用我国2004-2013年的省级面板数据,考察了信息技术应用促进消费增长的边际效应和普惠效应。实证研究表明,从总量而言,信息技术普及率对居民消费的效应显著为正;从结构而言,中西部地区的消费者将从信息技术应用中获益更多。研究结论对于我国实施“互联网+”战略促进消费增长和区域均衡发展具有重要的政策含义。
Does the widespread application of information technology substitute online retail for brick-and-motor retail, or promote newly increased consumption? This paper provides an analytical framework and theoretical hypotheses on the relationship between information technology application and consumption growth from the perspective of inclusive innovation. Using the data for the period 2004 - 2013, the paper researches the marginal effect and inclusive effect of consumption growth promoted by information technology application. This paper finds the adoption rate of information technology influences positively gross consumption and brings more benefits to the consumers in West-middle regions. The conclusions have more important policy implication for the strategy of Intemet plus to promote consumption growth and regional balanced development.
