Objective：To discuss the mechanism of Fufang Danshen tablets on preventing and treating coronary heart disease. Methods ： High lipid rats were balloon injuried on the left carotid artery after 4 weeks of a high cholesterol diet, blood lipids and morphometric analysis of the aorta artery were observed after treated 4 weeks by Fufang D anshen tablets. Results ： Fufang Danshen tablets can reduce the rats aorta artery neointimal hyperplasia induced by balloon injury,but no obvious effect on blood lipids. Conclusion：Anti artery neointimal hyperplasia is the mechanism of Fufang Danshen tablets on preventing and treating coronary heart disease.
