研究了不同粒重春小麦种子的萌发及幼苗生长特性,旨在探明春小麦种子大小与种子活力及幼苗生长的关系。选用7个新疆春小麦品种,按粒重将种子分为大粒（不同品种的粒重变化范围为57.92~62.73g/1000粒）、中粒（45.48~51.58g/1000粒）和小粒（34.95~39.59g/1000粒）3类,通过萌发实验研究种子活力及生长特性。结果表明：不同品种和粒重间的种子发芽率、发芽指数和活力指数等萌发因子及幼苗生物性状均存在显著差异（P〈0.05）,发芽率在粒重间的表现呈：中粒〉大粒〉小粒,发芽指数的规律为：中粒〉小粒〉大粒,活力指数为：中粒〉大粒〉小粒。小粒种子萌发速度快但发芽率不高,幼苗较小;大粒种子萌发速度慢,发芽率较高,幼苗最大;与大粒相比,中粒种子萌发速度相对较快,发芽率高,幼苗较大,中粒种子为相对最佳的种子类型。

The experiment was carried out to study seed germination and seedling growth characteristics of spring wheat with different grain weight, and to determine the relationships between grain weight and seed vigor and seedling growth.The seven varieties of spring wheat were divided into 3 categories in Xin jiang through germination test, large grain （grain weight range for the different varieties 57.92- 62.73 g/1000 grains）, medium grain （45. 48- 51. 58 g/1000 grains） and small grain （34. 95- 39.59 g/1000 grains） . The results showed that the different varieties and different seeds weight had the sig- nificant difference between germination rate, germination index, vigor index and biological traits （P 0.05）.The germination rate in grain weight was： medium seeds ~ large seeds~small seeds,the regular of germination index was ： medium seeds~ small seeds ~ large seeds, vigor index presented： medium seeds~ large seeds~small seeds.The speed of germination rate of small seeds was faster,but germination rate was low, and seedlings were smaller; The speed of germination rate of large seeds was low, germination rate was high, the seedlings were the largest;In comparison with the large seeds, the germination speed of medi- um grain seeds was relatively faster, the germination rate was higher and the seedling was larger. So the medium grain seed was relatively the best one.
