The flower character, activity of pollen, seed condition of inbred and hybrid for JXB - 1 and vegetative propagations was studied. The results showed that JXB - 1 had shriveled and cracked anther with no microspore, forced anther with irregular and no activities, but no seed set for inbred and no differences in flower appearance from normal flower, and it had 100 % of hybrid seed set percentage with 30 different germplasm, and vegetative propagations of JXB- 1 was all male sterile too. Thus, we can conclude that JXB- 1 was male sterile, have high appetency with other germplasm and can be used as good breeding material.
