The important role of the digital analysis platform for water distribution network in the switching from old water source to new water source and the optimized dispatching was described. The digital analysis platform for water distribution network was established on the basis of microcosmic model for water distribution network. Taking a big city in the Northeast China for example, the simulative calculation of multiple regime of the water distribution network was carried out, and the results were expressed in multiple modes. The stable transition of the switching from old water source to new water source and the optimized dispatching of the water distribution network were realized.
