Aim To provide governance model for small watershed in the water sources area of Middle Line of South-to-North Water Diversion. Methods To analyze the Ranjiagou watershed. Results The model stored 201. 8 thousand m^3 per year,intercepted sediment 57 100 t, gave 6. 349 9 million yuan to local residents. Conclusion The management of soil and water conservation in Ranjiagou watershed should mainly use engineering measures, supplemented by biological measures and ecological restoration measures.
