By analyzing the present situation of the training of information specialty students in TCM （Traditional Chinese Medicine） college, the suggestions of improving practice and innovation ability of these students are given. Including： teaching materials and teachers team should be improved to establish the TCM talent cultivation support system; the concept and mode of teaching should be changed, and the course training of case-teaching or project-driven should be launched; the innovation platform for self-learning should be built to improve student＇s innovative consciousness and innovative ability. In this way, the special talent-cultivation system of cross-disciplinary can be formed to make contributions to TCM informationization.
