英文摘要：

Objective： To make a further textual research and discuss the mainly used species of Jinyinhua. Methods： The ancient books on herbs were reviewed. On the basis of on- site investigation and sample collection work with reference to the modern literatures and professional books,the textual research was conducted from aspects of history,morphology,distribution,main producing area,and collection time according to the authoritative literatures of plant classification. Results： The characteristics recorded in the ancient herbal books are in general accordance with the species Lonicera japonica Thunb.（ Family of Caprifoliaceae）. Conclusion： Lonicera japonica Thunb. has always been the mainly used species of Chinese materia madica—Jinyinhua from the time when the recordation of the used part was emphasized on the flower.
