An Omni-directional micro-strip antenna for GPS equipment on mobile phone is proposed. It covers two common bands for GPS： 1227.6＋/-10MHz and 1575.42＋/-10MHz, which its return loss is greater than 10dB. With the radiation patch and two rectangular grounds, the size of the presented antenna is 20mm＆×70mm×0.8mm. By the simulated results we can draw a conclusion that the antenna reaches the requirements for GPS communication.
