Bundeswettbewerb Fremdsprachen is a national contest of foreign languages in Germany which is characterized in multilingualism, long history, participation in large scale, gigantic support from the government, creative competing method, and scientific organization; Bundeswettbewerb Fremdsprachen has played a great role in promoting multilin-gualism at state level in Germany, improving the citizens＇ foreign language competence and promoting multinational communication; the popularity and success of this contest is strongly related with the process of unionization of EU and its mutilingual education policies.
