The number of the blind pixel is an important parameter in the infrared imaging system. By the way of the 9 × 9 pane response method and the median filtering method, the number and position of the blind pixel is determined. The relationship between blind pixel detection rate and image grey value is determined by the median filtering method. With the improved algorithm to compensate blind pixel, the hardware occupancy rate and image distortion rate are reduced, the effect of blind pixel compensation is enhanced.
