In vitro fertilization-embryo transfer technique combined with Traditional Chinese medicine has an obvious advantage in treating for infertility of patients with polycystie ovary syndrome. On the one hand, traditional Chinese medicine is based on the whole concept of human body and the etiology and pathogenesis can be confirmed according to the patient＇s clinical manifesta- tions, hence the curative effect can be ensured. On the other hand, Chinese medicine treatment can be carried out based on the stage of disease development, by combining factors of people, time and place different treatment can be applied so that each patient can accept the most suitable treatment. In addition, most of traditional Chinese medicines are natural plants and animals. With fewer adverse reactions and less damage to patients, it can be applied with in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer technique and significantly improve the pregnancy rate of patients with polycystic ovary syndrome.
