Foreign trade is to promote hunan fast economic growth important strength. Facing the current situation home and abroad happened a series of major change, foreign trade development has entered the important strategic transformation. Hunan to realize the development of foreign trade of the new breakthrough, in wider range, a wider field and higher level in domestic and foreign competi- tion, we must accelerate the changes of foreign trade growth mode, the sustainable development of foreign trade deveiopment way to success in hunan is the only road. This paper introduces the development of foreign trade in hunan province since the new century the basic situation, based on study of using chart data analysis, and use of economic management related theory knowledge in hunan province in recent years the foreign trade sustainable development status of comprehensive evaluation analysis, finally the hunan strate- gic choice for the sustainable development of foreign trade related suggestions.
