Based on coupling and coordination dual perspectives,this paper built the index system and evaluation models,inspected and evaluated comprehensively urban recreationalization in China during 2003 ~ 2013,then carried on characteristics analysis of spatial difference. Results showed that： Firstly,the coupling development of urban recreationalization was in the stage of antagonism,and turned to the running-in stage quickly. Secondly,the current coordination level was relatively low,but showed a tendency of continued ascension. However,there was a big gap between the cities. Thirdly,the coupling degree of eastern and western cities was relatively high,while the coordination degree appeared decreasing trend from east to west.
