Catalase is an active enzyme in removing H2 02 fast without pollution, thus the biological mimic for eatalase has been the important and valuable study topic for the chemists in recent years. This review presented the different structures of the active site (FeCAT and MnCAT), and the development of the theoretical study. Moreover, summarized the problems and perspectives in the research field.
