Camchaya Gagnep.,a genus of the tribe Vernonieae,Asteraceae,was newly recorded from Guangxi,southern China.We provided a taxonomic description,detailed photographs of the only one representative species C.loloana Kerr,a distribution map of the whole genus.This finding indicated the close floristic affinity between southern Yunnan,Indo-China Peninsula and the tropical areas of southwestern Guangxi.
