Reaction of Ph3SnC1 with N-(4-carboxyphenyl)-salicylideneimine in 1:1 stoichiometry yielded complexe Ph3Sn(OOCC6H4NCHC6H4OH-2). The crystal structure of complex was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. In the crystals of complex,the tin atoms are rendered five-coordinate in a distorted bipyramidal configuration.
