A simplified method has been used, which is based on circuit network topology analysis to make sure where the harmonic detecting spots are. The method computes sensitivity parameter that reflects variability between bus harmonic voltages and injected harmonic currents. Then it is to localize harmonic sources using the real-time data in detecting spots and build harmonic estimator that is based on support vector machine algorithm. The comparison among linear, multilayer perceptrons, radial basis function estimators have been made. The simulation shows that radial basis function estimator has most precise and it can localize harmonic sources more precise.
