The quality of VolP is affected by the packet loss, time delay, jitter and other factors. To improve its quality, the packet loss concealment such as WSOLA（Waveform Similarity Overlap-Add） can be used. A new technique based on PAOLA（Peak Alignment Overlap-Add） is proposed to optimize WSOLA, and the quality of the retrieval speech is compared.
