Deep foundation pit was a complex systematic project, supporting the merits of the program affected by many factors. This paper, through using analytic hierarchy principle, discusses the complex program of deep foundation pit hierarchical decision - making problems, and, under the Sbenzhen - based pit support system, it is characterized by the establishment of a hierarchical model and through the comparison of AHP to select the optimal supporting program. Case studies show: AHP is simple, efficient, scientific and rational, and it is a complex multi -objective decision - making problem in practical ways. Total sorting through the layers to be pros and cons of various options will make the selection process become more comprehensive, scientific, fair and accurate.
