针对光波导电场传感器无源工作的特点,分析了电场传感器工作点对传感灵敏度、线性动态范围的影响。在系统噪声主要为热噪声时,器件工作点在π/2时,器件灵敏度最高;而系统噪声主要为量子噪声时,器件工作点由π/2靠近π一方时,可获得最高灵敏度。器件工作点在π/2时,线性动态范围最大。分析结果表明,为了获得最大的动态范围和最高的灵敏度,器件的工作点应该设置在略大于π/2的位置。
For passive working electric field sensors, the effects of bias point on the performances including sensitivity and linear dynamic range are analyzed. The main noise in the system is thermal noise, and the highest sensitivity is obtained at the bias point of π/2. And when the main noise in the system is quantum noise, the highest sensitivity is obtained at the bias point which is greater than π/2 and less than π. And the largest linear dynamic range is gained at the bias point ofπ/2. The results show that, in order to get the highest sensitivity and the largest dynamic range, the bias point should be set at slightly larger than π/2.
