This paper briefly expounds the development process of world heritage＆#39;s protection, from European and American enlightenment to heritage conservation internationalism and to the establishment of the world heritage protection system. A comprehensive summary is made on some aspects of world heritage protection, such as protection organization and login process, protection ideology and method, protection content and heritage type, cultural tourism as well as utilization and presentation. Also world heritage protection system, world heritage login process and the current world heritage pro-tection type system are preliminarily established.
