The soil characteristics and bioavailability of heavy metals in the PRD areas are described, andthe effects of soil iron, manganese and aluminum oxide minerals on the bioavailability of heavy metalsmainly summarized. The results indicate that soil minerals can greatly reduce the migration and transformationof heavy metals in soil-crop system and effectively improve the quality and safety of agriculturalproducts.
