英文摘要：

In this paper,we choose 17 indicators to establish the evaluation index system about the comprehensive strength of counties and cities along the Yangtze River in Jiangsu province.Firstly,we obtain the each principal component score ranking by principal component analysis,then classify counties and cities by cluster analysis,and use grey prediction method to foretell prefectural-level cities and to analyze their future development trends,finally,reuse principal component analysis to rank these cities.And the paper puts forward some recommendations for the future development of this region.
