The analysis of the micro,medium and macro perspectives of the whole social network for the professional athletes in China revealed that some athletes never had any connections with other athletes.They were ＂powerless＂and it was difficult for them to obtain network resources.The social support network and social discussion network showed that small communities of the athletes were formed and connections were built.
