In order to resolve the measurements problem of image resolution of Ultra High Definition Television, the characteristics of view UHDTV based on human visual definition limit, several measurement methods are studied. A new concept ＂detail expressive capability＂ to express the capability of image details is proposed in this paper. It provides reference for next step work.
