为完善家用机器人的控制方式,提出了一种利用PDA通过WiFi移动IP网络操控家用机器人的新方法。该方法充分发挥了WiFi移动IP网络的稳定、高带宽和移动性等优点,开发了一个全新的运行在PDA上的机器人控制软件,命名为Robot PDA Teleoperation。实现了使用PDA通过WiFi移动IP网络操控家用机器人的新方法,完善了家用机器人的控制方式。该方案可以解决现有家用机器人控制方式单一、操作不方便、便携性差、使用成本高、不易于推广等不足。基于加拿大DrRobot公司的X80-H型机器人进行了大量实验。实验结果表明该方案是可行的。
This paper presented a novel approach that utilized PDA to control the home robot through WiFi Mobile IP network. The new software, named Robot PDA Teleoperation, for controlling the home robot was developed, which can be run on PDA and smart mobile phone platform. This approach can overcome such existing deficiencies as simple control, high cost, inconvenience in operation and so on. A number of experiments were carried out based on Canada DrRobot XS0-H robot. The experimental results show that the scheme and the software are feasible and effective.
