SOA provides an effective way for constructing loose - coupled web service composition system. On the basis of studying the generic process of UDDI, the paper proposes a combination method based on extended UDDI of geographic information service by stud- ying the extension of UDDI data structures and functional modules to complete the process of a composition of GIS service, which pro- vides an effective solution to composition of GIS service.
