Based on the characteristics of Soil and Fertilizer Sciences Course in agricultural university and several year＇s practice of teaching, in this paper, the auther discussed that we should pay more attention to text book, which is crucial for teaching, optimizing the quality of teachers, improving teaching contents, setting up strict crite- ria for evaluating students, optimizing experiment teaching, and culturing student＇s interests and initiative to im- prove quality and effects of teaching.
