Based on a number of research data,this paper briefly reviews the Cd pollution which has a high degree of concern currently,and introduces the Cd pollution of soils at home and abroad.Besides,the paper gives discussios in view of the general control methods of heavy metals in soil,and raises and investigates the theory of ecological restoration.
