Bryophyte is a large group in higher plants. Molecular ecology of plant is an emerging branches of molecular biology and is becoming one of the focus of present attention. In this paper, research advances on molecular ecology of bryophytes, including population genetic diversity, molecular systematics and evolution and molecular biogeography, were reviewed based on refer to literature at home and abroad.
