When 2D barcodes are pasted on the cylindrical objects, common recognition software can not correctly identify them. Proposes a recognition algorithm for cylinder 2D barcode, and is implemented and tested on the Android platform. The testing result showes that the algorithm can obtain good recognition rate when the aspect ratio of cylinder 2D barcode is less than 0.7.
