赤泥是铝工业生产过程中的废渣,以拜耳法赤泥为原料,通过还原焙烧~磁选试验回收赤泥中的铁。该赤泥中铁的含量25.55%,并其主要的存在形态是赤铁矿,考察了不同的焙烧温度、焙烧时间、炭粉加入量和添加剂用量等因素对实验结果的影响,得出了最佳的实验条件。在该实验条件下,经还原一磁选得到铁品位为86.35%的铁精矿。铁的回收率为87.32%,可作为海绵铁,直接用于高炉炼钢。
Red mud is the waste residue during the production of aluminum industry, recovery of iron is investigated from red mud with reduction roasting process followed by magnetic separation. The content of iron in the red mud is 25.55% ,and hematite is the major crystalline phase. The effects on recovery efficiency of ferrous from different paramters, such as roasting temperature,roasting time, amount of carbon powder and dosage of additives, are studied. The optimum experimental conditions are obtained. With the optimun experimental conditions,the content of iron in concentrate is 86. 35% ,and the recovery ratio is 87.32%. Iron concentrate can be used as sponge iron and directly be used for blast furnace steelmaking.
