In order to solve the qualification problem of family economic difficulties students in colle- ges, this paper proposed that using the analytic hierarchy process （AHP） to determine evaluation in- dex weights, and established the scientific qualification level determination method of family economic difficulties students in colleges based on the grey system theory in order to accurately determine the difficulty level of the student.
