介绍了功率密度4×10^16W/cm2,脉宽120fs情况下超短超强激光分别与5和2.1μm薄膜铝靶作用加速质子的实验。采用CR-39固体径迹探测器和Thomson谱仪结合测量得到质子能谱,并对实验结果进行分析。测得的5μm铝靶的质子最大能量约为140keV,2.1μm铝靶的质子最大能量约为170keV。2.1μm铝靶的质子产额较5μm铝靶的高1个量级。
The results of the generation of fast protons from 5μm and 2.1μm aluminum foils by 120 fs laser irradiation at 4× 10^16 W/cm2 were presented. A Thomson spectrometer and CR-39 solid track detector were used to measure proton energy spectra. The maximum proton energy is 140 keV for 5 μm aluminum foil, and is 170 keV for 2.1 μm aluminum foil. The proton yield of 2.1μm aluminum foil is higher than that of 5 μm aluminum foil for one order of magnitude.
