Cotton leaf area measurement when its growth period is a time-consuming work. This paper presented a new rapid method of forcasting cotton leaf area without damage to the leaves. Through the data analysis of different growing stages of cotton leaf area, regression model was established and a new kind of forecasting method of cotton leaf area was put forward.
