In order to eliminate the disturbance from light source, a double-beam equipment that can be applied to measure the optical rotatory angle of chiral materials has been designed. At one time and another, the rotatory angles of chiral material such as griseofulvin solution have been measured and compared repeatedly. The results show that the equipment possesses high accuracy, good repetition and convenience.
