The mechanism of self-excited oscillation pulsed jet is pointed out,the main research and application achievements are overviewed, after analyzing these achievements, these are pointed out that, the present researches＇ methods are mainly based on experiences, theories or methods, and the main applying domains are at oil drilling, oil tank desilting, fishery oxygenation, and so on. At last, the forecasts about further research and application are done. These can provide some references for similar researches.
