General expressions for polytropic process and specific heat of the Dieterici gas are derived respectively.And some special processes (such as adiabatic,isothermal,isochoric and isobaric process) are discussed in detail.In addition,the expressions for polytropic process and specific heat of the ideal gas can be obtained directly as a special case.This shows that the conclusions in this paper are more common.
