To solve the coupled governing equations for describing heat and moisture transfer in fabrics, a precise time recursive algorithm is applied to heat and moisture coupled equations for fabrics, while a fi- nite volume method based recurrent system is developed. Then, a new computing procedure without it- eration for solving nonlinear coupled equations of the heat and moisture transfer in the fabric is carried out and an example is given. The conclusion shows that the solution accuracy does not depend on the sizes of the time step.
