农业供给侧结构性改革是当前我国农业发展中的重要战略任务,玉米价值链转型升级是重要组成部分。基于我国玉米产业的播种面积、产量、成本-收益、加工以及消费等情况的宏观描述性统计分析,结合吉林省两家玉米生产合作社的案例研究发现玉米产业存在三大问题：一是玉米单产难有较大突破,受自然灾害影响严重;二是玉米生产成本过高,国内外价格倒挂;三是玉米消费不足,加工企业开机率偏低。从而表明我国玉米价值链急需转型升级以摆脱当前的发展困境,并最终提出要从降低生产成本和延伸产业链等方面探索我国玉米价值链转型升级的路径。

英文摘要：

Supply - side structural reform in agriculture is a major strategic task for China＇ s agricultural devel- opment. Hence, it is of great practical significance to study the current situation of and prospects for corn industry in China. Based on an analysis of the macroeconomic data about the sown area, output, production costs and prof- its, processing and consumption of the corn industry in China, and case studies on two corn production coopera- tives, this paper finds out three challenges for the industry ： 1 ） its unit yield is hard to achieve breakthrough due to its vulnerability to natural disasters; 2） its purchasing price overseas is lower than that in the domestic market due to its high production costs ; and 3 ） corn processing enterprises have to run under capacity due to under - consump- tion. The study suggests that the value chain of corn industry in China is in urgent need of transforming and upgra- ding and that efforts should be made to explore ways to transform and upgrade the industry chain, focusing particu- larly on reducing its production costs and extending the value chain of the industry.
