Phospholipid polymers are the polymers containing phosphate ester bonds in molecular structure and have attracted scientist＇s attention widely due to their excellent biocompatibility, high matching flexibility with biological molecules under physiological condition, and structural variability. This paper reviewed classification, synthesis, properties and biomedical application of phospholipid polymers. The recent development and prospects of phospholipid polymers were also discussed.
