针对手掌静脉识别系统中预处理算法不能够很好地解决掌纹造成静脉网络“断裂”,导致识别性能降低的问题,通过对手掌静脉图像的观察和分析,提出8个方向滤波器提取掌纹;并将掌纹提取图像与原掌脉图像加权融合,消除了掌纹对手掌静脉图像的干扰,使静脉网络更加连贯,增大了静脉与背景的对比度。实验结果表明,与目前已有的手掌静脉增强方法相比,去掌纹增强方法提高了图像质量,进而提高了手掌静脉识别系统的识别精度。
Because preprocessing can't solve the problem that palmprint caused the " Fracture" problem on palm vein network which results in poor performance of palm vein recognition system. Through observing and analysing the palm vein image, eight directional filter was presented to extract palmprint. Then the palmprint image and the original image were weighted fusion. This method eliminates interference of palmprint, keeps the coherence of the palm vein, and increases the venous and background contrast. Experimental results show that, compared to the current method of enhancing palm vein, this method improves image quality, and improve the recognition accuracy of palm veins recognition system.
