OBJECTIVE To investigate the colon - specific delivery of Kangfuxin colon - specific drop pill. METHODS The releasing site and time of the drug from the colon - specific coated drop pill in dogs were investigated by gamma scintigraphy using ^99Tc^m as the marker. RESULTS The coated drop pills were released in dogs＇ transverse colon and descending colon. CONCLUSION Kangfuxin colon - specific coated drop pills possess the colon - specific delivery characteristics.
