Double percolation behavior has been observed in the conductive particles filled multi-component polymers. This characteristic results in effective decreasing percolation threshold of filler and to some extent avoiding poor processing performance and mechanical properties induced by higher contents of fillers added, and diminishing the negative temperature coefficient (NTC) effect of resistance. In this paper, the progress in study on conductive composites consisting of carbon black(CB) filled multi-component polymers was reviewed with 32 references. The effect of CB filler distribution and polymer matrix on conductivity, mechanism of conductivity and the relationship between conductivity and temperature were discussed in detail.
